The lenghts I will go to for a good freebie

As most of you know I am always on the lookout for a freebie or a great deal. Most of the items in my house are treasures found in this manner. Well Yesterday I found free wainscoting/bead board. I am envisioning this around parts of our newly painted kitchen cabinet (on the wall of course) as well as in the downstairs bathroom. So Eli and I headed over to pick up the bead board about 15 minutes away. Got there and realized that the pieces were too big to fit into my car and especially with the car seat! UGH... So later on I borrowed Gene's pt cruiser , left Eli with my Mom and Gene and headed back over there (again 15 minutes each way). The boards fit, well kinda, with a good bungee and rope job! But I got them and headed home driving 30 miles per hour (again now more than 15 minute away). now I should also mention that as I was trying to get this whole task accomplished I had a group coming to my home for dinner in 1/2 hour and the casserole was still in the fridge! I was certainly cutting it close. So now I need to measure and figure out exactly where we will put it. I am very excited, this was a good find! Picture of the completed project will follow!
